Innovative Approaches, Leading the Charge Towards Carbon-Neutral Tomorrow

About Us

EVEEC is part of the Victorian energy upgrade, or VEU PROGRAM, a Victorian government initiative. As part of the VEU program we can create what are called Victorian energy efficiency certificates (VEEC’s) for completing certain tasks that reduce carbon emissions. EVEEC is only available to installers in Victoria. EVEEC is currently only available to licensed plumbing practitioners.

We help trades people to access funding which may not have been possible otherwise via government program. We also work directly with customers directly if they wish to deal directly with us. We only work on projects which will meet all compliance requirement and we are upfront about what to expect.

Hot Water

Heat pumps use a CFC-free refrigerant to absorb energy from the air, heating the water to a temperature adjustable between 30°C to 90°C. It consumes up to 70% less electrical energy than a conventional electric water heater, as the electrical power it consumes is only to operate the compressor and fan.

Commercial Lighting

Replacing old lights with energy efficient lights such as LEDs can help your business reduce energy use and save you money. It can also help improve the environment. If you’re looking for an independent partner to support your lighting projects, our EVEEC team in Melbourne are your trusted advisors.

What is a Heat Pump Hot Water System?

Heat Pump Water Heaters are very energy efficient and use much less energy than a conventional electric system, some models can reduce your energy consumption by up to 80% compared to Electric Hot Water system. They use a refrigeration cycle to extract heat from the air to heat the water, like your fridge operating in reverse. Your fridge “pumps” heat out of the fridge to the room to keep your food cold, a heat pump water heater “pumps” heat from the environment into the water to heat it up. As it is moving heat from one place to another, rather than turning electricity into heat, it can use much less energy.

Heating and Cooling

The Home Heating and Cooling Upgrades Program will increase the comfort, wellbeing and health of vulnerable Victorians while also creating new jobs and tackling climate change.

Over the next three years the Victorian Government will invest $335 million to provide energy efficient heating and cooling for households & business by reducing the upfront cost of purchasing energy efficient reverse cycle split systems.

Reverse cycle split systems are energy efficient and provide households with thermal comfort throughout the year by keeping homes warm in winter and cool in summer.
